With dolphin 5.0 release this guide will get a clean up (due to the feature removal,etc.). I would like to ask though if people want to keep this too as is for dolphin versions between 4.0 and 5.0. Maybe with a spoiler tag for older versions than 5.0? I just hope a post can hold all this much text inside it (don't know if there is any text restriction per post).

It is very important that someone do the per game setting of NTSC and PAL60.
To Mario Party 8 running in full screen on the board, the following combination is necessary:

Config -> Wii -> Screen ratio - > 4: 3
Config -> Force the console to NTSC
Config -> Wii -> Disable Wii Mode Use PAL60
Graphics -> Screen ratio -> Automatic


For Star Fox Assault work, we must at all times maintain the NTSC option disabled.
For now I had no time to learn how to do them.
I appreciate if anyone can do NTSC and PAL.

There is no "setting" for NTSC or PAL. That's determined by the game itself.

But the region 'can' be configured by 'game.ini'. Configured Mario Party 8 that way I mentioned above, the screen will Fullscreen. Otherwise, it will have sidebands. This configuration made above was made by the layout of the Dolphin (general) and not by Game.ini. Games have their particular region, but setting some overall layout you unconfigures others. The intention is to choose these options by Game.ini so each game can have its particular configuration.

Please try again with the latest builds. The 5.0 RC builds were abandoned.

Did you add it to the right section of the ini file?
