I examined the ini files again and i realized i use the wrong game id on the file!

So yes i can now use gameini files to overwrite global settings by using Notepad.

just not from within Dolphin -> Properties -> Edit config as the ini file will be deleted immediately once i close the properties window!

Yeah, I've had similar problems with the settings not sticking (also when trying to edit the cheats list from within Dolphin), so I always edit the INI files with Notepad directly to bypass the problem.

Sorry if I've simply missing it, but whats the wording I should put in the game-specific config file to turn off fullscreen?

I have fullscreen enabled globally in Dolphin, but for Zelda: Four Swords, I want to be able to have it not be fullscreen (so that I can have the GBA emulators running on the side).

You can't with gameinis currently.

No, controller profiles can only be loaded through the controller config.

So I make a notepad file called "Xenoblade Chronicles" and insert whatever settings I want like OpenGL and etc then put it in the "Gamesettings" folder in Documents/Dolpin Emulator? I also added a notepad file of ini settings for Super Mario Galaxy. I also put it in there. Is that all, really? Or do I have to make a separate folder for each game in "Gamesettings"?

The file isn't supposed to be called "Xenoblade Chronicles", because the INIs use game IDs, not game names. If you press the Edit Config button in the game properties window, Dolphin will automatically create the file with the correct name in the correct location and open it for you.

Ok, i updated the anti-aliasing gameini options for dolphin after the latest changes. Not really sure about the version since they apply though, might work with previous versions as well, perhaps since when both backend antialiasing options became common.

can I remove this setting "EFBCopyEnable" from all the INI's?

And is the next option renamed in the INI or in the GUI version?
EFBToTextureEnable = True (or False to enable "Efb to Texture" and "Efb to Ram" respectively). => This option is renamed to "Store Efb Copies to Texture Only" in the latest dev version.
