Async shaders are incredibly awesome for games with serious stuttering problems, specifically Metroid Prime 3. There are some visual glitches from the async shaders, but there are worse visual glitches on master anyway (black bar, second long stuttering, flashing to black then rebuilding the scene), so it's way way more playable!

Uh, yo... I don't think custom branches need more than one thread on them.
