Unique problems with Luigi's Mansion

Hi All! I'm a newb here, but a long time user of various emulators. I'm trying to run Luigi's Mansion on the latest release of Dolphin, but due to graphics issues it just won't work. When loading the rom with direct3d it runs at 3fps, and when loading it with opengl, it runs sound at full speed, but the picture is a yellow screen for about twenty seconds, then a blue screen.... What's going on? I'm suspecting my graphics card drivers aren't up to it, and here's why - I WILL need help Smile And I'm not getting any config options for direct3d...

2ghz core duo intel iiMac running XP via bootcamp (runs other stuff VERY nicely)
128mb ATI graphics
4gb RAM

Now before you peg this problem on the fact that I'm running boot camp, I saw this exact problem reported by a compaq user in a different thread, but he didn't get any help.

So wat think, guise? I suspect the problem could be outdated opengl drivers but haven't a clue how to check. For the record, I'm running XP sp3, my directx drivers are up to date!

Ziltoid

Also, this problem doesn't REALLY count as unique but since nobody helped the other guy, I'm assuming it's new to y'all Smile

UPDATE: Just loaded the newest version of Dolphin - Still have same problem but now the program itself crashes constantly, citing "can't find file". Getting very frustrated.

I had some weird issues with luigi's mansion. DX9 gave me very strange fragments and there would be odd yellow lines that sometimes covered more than half the screen. It did play perfectly as far as framerates and no crashing.

I switched to DX 11 plugin and most of the problems were solved. The only time I see yellow banding is when Luigi opens doors.

I too have an ATI graphics card. Perhaps there is something with the drivers. Make sure you are up to date with the drivers.

People always say that they're running the latest version of Dolphin but sometimes do not know what the latest version actually is. That's why it is always good to mention the build number rather than to say the latest. What is the build number of Dolphin that you're using?

I *thought* i was using the latest, but it turns out to have not even close - rev. 4779 or something around there. I downloaded the newst sv build from the website, but it crashed pretty much right away. I'll have a go at rev 6284, Butz_san. Are you using the same setup as me?

And Starscream, I'm not sure if i can be arsed getting Win 7. Any good reasons to? (except for the gamecube)
ok, here's the error i get with that build, as soon as i double click the .exe - "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application."
