Hey again, I'm running into issues with my Wiimote on Linux. After pairing my remote to POP!_OS 21.04, it appears to be picked up by Dolphin, and adopts the "1" LED. However, it refuses to change slots when I move it around, and also refuses to connect to the game. Closing dolphin, however, changes the LEDs on the bottom to show both 1 and 3.

(Also, I tried both my -TR and my non -TR Wiimote)

On Windows with the same machine, I have no problems whatsoever. Ideas?

Avoid connecting the Wii remote directly to your OS, just pair it to Dolphin (eg. Continuous Scanning).
If you still face problems, then try Bluetooth Passthrough.

Also, your profile says that your are using 5.0, which is too old and might be the reason for this problem. You should use the latest beta/development version. Since the latest builds don’t have a download for Linux users, you’d have to build the latest version for your POP OS yourself. "Just pair it to Dolphin" does not work for me -- it does not wish to pair. I cannot use Bluetooth Passthrough because 1) I do not have a dedicated USB bluetooth adapter, and 2) I use my mobo Bluetooth for more than just wiimotes.

I forgot to update it, I'm using 5.0-14899 on POP!_OS, which should be fine for Wiimotes (theoretically, I just compiled it two days ago)

It's weird. On Windows you are able to connect, but not here. Maybe try updating/re-installing the bluetooth driver of your POP OS.
Also, I recommend you to completely read this: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Configuring_Controllers#Real_Wii_Remote
