It seems that I am unable to run the application. Errors:
1. The program can't start because VCOMP100.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. (Downloads VCOMP100.DLL)
2. The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

From http://dolphin-emu.org/faq.html

Install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package: 32 bit / 64 bit.

Based on that, I am guessing the the emulator is being coded with Visual Studio 2010. That is cool. Not even Modplug Tracker's developers are using it. As far as I know, they are still using Visual Studio 2008.
That worked. Thanks for the help.

It's designed to build with vs2010 as one of several different build systems that can be used if that's what you mean. Where have you been? This change was made months ago.

Why?

So? That's their loss.

I have used quite a few of the SVN builds, but this is the first one that required installation of the Visual C++ 2010 runtime component. As for where I have been, I have been not watching the code. It is cool because many developers use the generation before the latest one. In Modplug Tracker's developers' defense, they may be switching to a different language anyway.

I've tried both installing the latest DX runtimes and installing Visual C++ 2010. Everything you've said. But i still get the message: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

This happens with every version of Dolphin that i download, what can I do to fix it?

Thank you, although that thread didn't say more than this one. And still I haven't got it to work...
