Unable to pull the fruit with Yoshi in Mario Galaxy 2

I've finished the 1st galaxy game without any problems, 2nd is working fine too but in the first Yoshi level I can't pull a big fruit no matter what I do, what's the problem? You need to hold B button and just walk backward, right?

Disable "Skip EFB Access from CPU" on the Graphics Settings. This option breaks Yoshi's tongue and the ability to shoot/pull star bits...

It was disabled by default.

Okay, are you able to collect/shoot Star Bits or use Yoshi's tongue elsewhere?
