First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm at my wits end and, having spent quite a bit of money on wiimotes, nunchucks, a sensor bar, and a dongle, I am quite frustrated. It seems as though everything works 100% perfect until I try to pair it with Dolphin. My dongle picks up the wiimote, recognizes it, installs drivers, it's the right name (nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR), it stays on, I go to dolphin, hit pair aaaannnddd.....nothing. I've tried this so many times, so many ways, I just have no idea what is going on. I seems like it should just work...but it doesn't.
P.S. I am running windows 7 64 bit. 3rd gen intel i5 3570K quad core @3.4 GHz. AMD Radeon HD 7770. Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz RAM 8gb.

There is no way you can pair "RVL-CNT-01-TR" wiimote without Toshiba Stack

Thank you for enlightening me! I have found a good download link, do I need to uninstall anything before I install this new toshiba stack?

Ok I guess I do need to uninstall it but that's an option in the install. I installed the toshiba stack and I can't find it. I'm lookin at the thread you posted and I can't see where to go to launch the toshiba bluetooth thing.

Ok, so I went and borrowed a regular wiimote from my parents and it works perfectly with dolphin. Just as you said, it is my wiimotion plus built in controller that is causing the issue. I cannot find the location of this "microsoft bluetooth stack". I tried to just install the toshiba stack anyway and multiple issues arose. Needless to say, I need to uninstall the microsoft stack. I can't find it on my computer, what would the file location be? I must seem completely inept with this haha, sorry!

In device manager, under bluetooth radios, there is one that says microsoft bluetooth enumerator. I uninstall it but it reinstalls it automatically. Is that the microsoft bluetooth stack? I keep trying to download the toshiba stack but it stops about 1/16 the way through the download and it says "please plug in the bluetooth device" and then I can't go any further.

Yep, that's the MS stack.

The toshiba stack only works with some bluetooth devices, but there is a workaround for this problem. Search the forums for more information.

Ok, but how do I keep it from automatically re-installing?
This is what happens every time: I uninstall microsoft enumerator, i begin installing the toshiba stack, one loading bar goes all the way across, another opens, starts loading, and a smidge of the way in it starts installing microsoft enumerator again, even though I disabled and uninstalled it. The download then stops and a window pops up that says "please plug in the bluetooth device". And that's as far as I can get.

Try latest Toshiba Stack (search it somewhere on the net)
Maybe that old Toshiba Stack version doesn't support your USB dongle

It is the latest version, the problem is I can't even get it to install on my machine. The microsoft bluetooth enumerator keeps automatically reinstalling instelf, even when I'm not connected to the internet. Also, and I don't know if this is related, a box keeps popping up that says "please plug in the bluetooth device". I click OK, nothing happens, and the box pops up again. I can't finish the installation until I resolve that issue. I really don't think it's my dongle, it's a brand new bluetooth 4.0 dongle.

Plug USB dongle in then Toshiba will install driver for you
It seems Toshiba can't detect your dongle
