Hi guys! I'm new to this forum so I'll introduce myself. My name is Alex I'm 18 and I'm from Spain.
I'm having issues pairing my Wiimotes to my PC. I had never tried doing it before so I'm kinda new to this. I got a brand new 4€ USB Bluetooth 2.0 dongle as my PC didn't have. I tried to connect the Wiimotes via Bluetooth device settings on the W10 settings menu. Since this required a password and the "Next" button wasn't opperative unless I wrote one, I looked for other ways to connect.
After many tutorials, third party programs and drivers, I got my TLOZ Wiimote to... ¿pair? So what I did was:
I installed some drivers many turorials featured from this guy whose name I don't remember bur I'm sure many of you will tell since they are the most common in any tutorials.
Then, I rightclicked the Bluetooth icon on my taskbar and got to this "Add group devices" (I don't know the exact English name for this option) and added my controller. If I pressed 1+2 when looking for devices then it wouldn't work, but luckily if I used the red sync button it would.
After over roughly 2 and a half hours I finally got it to pair, except that a weird light combination was going on on the player lights. All lights were on except for the first one. At this point I managed to get into a menu responsive to button presses and I guess pointer (since I had the candle setup in front of me).
That is it, it doesn't matter which controller I use (I have 4 non -TR ones) it gets stuck on that, Dolphin won't recognise them.
I don't know if you faced this issue, but in a tutorial I found there was a point where this same Player 2, 3 and 4 lights were on, but it required a program to map the inputs.
Thanks in advance and sorry if I made any mistakes since English is not my native language
