Unable to pair Original Wiimotes

Hi guys! I'm new to this forum so I'll introduce myself. My name is Alex I'm 18 and I'm from Spain.

I'm having issues pairing my Wiimotes to my PC. I had never tried doing it before so I'm kinda new to this. I got a brand new 4€ USB Bluetooth 2.0 dongle as my PC didn't have. I tried to connect the Wiimotes via Bluetooth device settings on the W10 settings menu. Since this required a password and the "Next" button wasn't opperative unless I wrote one, I looked for other ways to connect.
After many tutorials, third party programs and drivers, I got my TLOZ Wiimote to... ¿pair? So what I did was:
I installed some drivers many turorials featured from this guy whose name I don't remember bur I'm sure many of you will tell since they are the most common in any tutorials.
Then, I rightclicked the Bluetooth icon on my taskbar and got to this "Add group devices" (I don't know the exact English name for this option) and added my controller. If I pressed 1+2 when looking for devices then it wouldn't work, but luckily if I used the red sync button it would.
After over roughly 2 and a half hours I finally got it to pair, except that a weird light combination was going on on the player lights. All lights were on except for the first one. At this point I managed to get into a menu responsive to button presses and I guess pointer (since I had the candle setup in front of me).
That is it, it doesn't matter which controller I use (I have 4 non -TR ones) it gets stuck on that, Dolphin won't recognise them.

I don't know if you faced this issue, but in a tutorial I found there was a point where this same Player 2, 3 and 4 lights were on, but it required a program to map the inputs.

Thanks in advance and sorry if I made any mistakes since English is not my native language

These two wiki pages have explanations on pairing Wiimotes properly.

EDIT: You also need USB 3.0 adapters for the best experience possible.

Thank you very much! I've managed to install Zadig and the new drivers and I enabled Passthrough but when I run a game I get the following warning:

A "IPCEvent" event was scheduled from the wrong thread (non-CPU)
Ignore and continue?

I guess that's not a good sign, am I right?

EDIT: I clicked the Ignore option on the dialogue and now any time I try to run a game Dolphin closes.
EDIT 2: I can't run any game even if I dissable passthrough.

DJBarry, why was your first suggestion bluetooth passthrough lol

"hi I want to play a game in Dolphin"

"okay first you'll need a chainsaw"

Anyways, it sounds like you followed a very outdated tutorial and installed some drivers you really shouldn't have. The default bluetooth stack in Windows 10 can handle wiimotes these days. You just click sync in Dolphin and press the red sync button on the wiimote next to the battery.

You'll need to undo everything you've done to your bluetooth driver and stack. Since we don't know what you did, that's going to be hard to give advice on.

I honestly recommend using System Restore to get yourself back to the point before you started this.

To be honest I didn't pay much attention to the tutorial's guide... I know I have first tried to add Wiimotes as bluetooth devices on Windows' configuration. Then installed (and then uninstalled because they didn't make any difference) "HID-Wiimote" drivers from Julian Loehr. Then I tried "JoyToKey" which translated Wiimote inputs into keypresses to then map these keypresses in Dolphin. (Didn't work either, plus I know this is not the intended way to do it). By the way, at some point of me trying to add controllers as Bluetooth devices I managed to get into a dialogue window that was responsive to me pressing buttons and pointing at my candles, just in case that may mean something. I also installed Toshiba Stack drivers, which I guess I could uninstall if that is a problem. I tried syncing Wiimotes by just pressing the red button on the back and sync on Dolphin and it wouldn't work...

I'm kinda desperate haha Confused

Okay so I've restored my PC. Still can't sync. I just hooked my Bluetooth dongle in, ran Dolphin and tried to sync my wiimotes. This is driving me crazy .-.
