I purchased a Sena UD100 Bluetooth Adapter to use exclusively with dolphin. It works great.
I also have a cheapo little usb stub Bluetooth Adapter for other bluetooth things like headphones (you can see it here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B077...UTF8&psc=1)
The problem: Whenever the cheapo Bluetooth Adapter is plugged in dolphin tries to use it for bluetooth passthrough instead of the UD100, presumptively.
when staring with the cheapo Bluetooth Adapter plugged in dolphin freezes for many minutes then eventually presenting "Failed to open bluetooth device: LIBUSB_ERROR_OTHER"
after clicking ok it goes to the next adapter, I assume, and then I can finally connect my controller and play
This becomes an issue because I don't want to wait 5-6 minutes to change apps in the wii menu and I need a normal bluetooth connection for gamecube controllers
I tried Forcing a specific adapter:
But it still presumptively tries to use the wrong adapter first as nothing changed
I realise the workaround is to unplug it when changing titles but I don't want to do that - that's like making someone unplug and plug back in their mouse every time they switch programs.
a note to close this out: I only started playing with dolphin recently after about 6 months of not using it. In that time there was several windows updates which I assume made this issue happen because 6 months ago this was not an issue
