Sometimes it's rather obvious, like in the case of The Last Story, which my computer's specs probably just cant handle (Xenoblade was fine though), but other times I feel like I'm missing something.
Recently, I've emulated Rune Factory Frontier and Masamune both at twice native resolution with no problems, but A Boy and his Blob seems to be maxed out at 50 FPS regardless of the resolution, making the gameplay unplayably choppy. I thought "okay maybe it's got super fancy lighting or something" but then I tried X-men Legends, which is a gamecube game, and it could barely manage 40 FPS. With both of these games, the resolution seemed to have no effect whatsoever on the FPS.
This doesnt make much sense to me, but maybe it's not surprising to others?
