Make sure you checked the "Create decrypted contents" option as described in the guide.
Also, please do not create threads for every little issue you encounter. You could have kept this discussion in your other thread for example. 10-11-2013, 04:23 AM

Tho it's been quite some time, I've decided to take your advice and keep the discussion right here in this thread. Now I need to acquire the files and instructions to properly booting up the Wii OS? Like buying a new console and configuring stuff like: date/time and internet settings like the original? I'm not saying the emulation has indeed gotten to that point BUT I am hoping and having faith in you guys, that it's happened already. xD 03-22-2014, 02:14 PM
If you got the certificates, then you're good to go. Just boot a game using Nintendo WFC and the online features will just work (except DLCs, they require some unique files from a real Wii to work)...
Avell A70 MOB: Core i7-11800H, GeForce RTX 3060, 16 GB DDR4-3200, Windows 11 (Insider Preview)
ASRock Z97M OC Formula: Pentium G3258, GeForce GT 440, 16 GB DDR3-1600, Windows 10 (22H2) 03-22-2014, 02:20 PM

Well actually, what I really mean is, to be able to explore my way around the Wii Menu and access the Eshop, Settings and everything possible on the original. The WFC thing is already clear to me but I'd really love the chance to explore this. ![]()
Wii Shop Channel won't work. Wii Menu can be installed but it's pretty useless: launching channels or trying to boot ISOs from Disc Channel will result in a black screen, channels saved to SD card won't show up (even if you manually copied the private folder contents to sd.raw), and messing around with internet settings will give you a black screen too, so, there isn't much to do. Also, you may already know how the Wii Menu works, after all you probably used one to dump your games...

Wow man, you saved me a ton of issues if I ever got around to obtaining those files. xD Well I guess one last question would be: Will this emu of the OS be fixed/perfected as well so that we can all completely replace our Wiis? Some dude announced he'll be replacing the online servers overall btw, so no worries in that department lol 03-25-2014, 12:37 AM
I'm not a dev, but I think fixing Wii Menu is one of the low priority things, after all Dolphin wasn't meant to be a complete replacement of a real Wii, at least form my point of view...
