I'll be pretty specific. I've cross referenced my issue with the forums, but have not seen any specific post of its kind. Cool I'm kind of a computer analysis and I was able to install a "older" version of Dolphin and run it without any problems. My main issue begun AFTER I downloaded the update from this website.
My OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
so I download the most up to date Dolphin 64 bit
I click on the icon to try to launch the emulator and it feeds back with a:
(Dolphin.exe -System Error
The program can't start because VCOMP100.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem)

How is it I am able to run an OLDER version without an issue, but from using the most up to date version, I can't get it to open? I don't think my specs are an issue, but I'm not a Dolphin expert, so its the reason I'm tossing my post in. This laptop is more up to date than my gaming laptop... about a year or so old. I want to know what I need to do to GET Dolphin to start up properly. ^_^ I will also be replying to others in case there is a need to drop my technical stats if that is the issue.

Newer versions of Dolphin have newer code, more changes. It's as simple as that really. The latest versions need you to install some stuff first. Read this FAQ about it. It's one of the most asked questions here.

Also, be sure to read the rules before posting.

Quote:On top of that we will also be closing threads from users asking questions that have been asked and answered numerous times and threads that are useless and are a waste of time. We're trying to clear out all the clutter and garbage and replace that with quality threads.
