Hey, first time poster, searched over and over for threads on this but didn't find an answer. So, I figure I should just sit down and make my own. I'll try to keep this short.
I'm trying to run Ultimate I Spy, and it works fantastically until literally the first major input. Game boots up, I can easily press A to select menu options and advance tutorial text, but when I have to press and hold A to turn a crank in the tutorial, it stops working. Like, it still understands I'm making a spinning motion with my cursor, but it doesn't seem to understand I'm holding down the button. Seems to think I'm merely tapping it once.
I'm using a Magegee G6S mouse [cringey I knowww, I got it secondhand for an alright deal] so I wonder if the extra buttons are confusing it? It's got a little DPI button on top and two scroll buttons on the side, but I don't have those mapped to anything [tried mapping one to A briefly to see if it'd work, to no avail. Immediately reset it to default after.]
I've tried restarting and I've tried running dolphin as administrator and I've tried remapping the button to multiple different keyboard keys, nothing seems to work. I can't help but feel like there's a hilariously obvious solution staring me in the face, but I've already spent hours googling about this, so thread it is I guess!
