Hi, I am using revision 5709 and when i run wind waker it is a blurry mess no matter the plugin i use. This is not how it used to be when i ran it on an older version of dolphin. (3661)

I am using windows 7 64 bit, latest dx runtime, latest geforce250 gts drivers
12GB ram, i7 930 3.7GHZ cpu.

I tried all different graphical setting, but same result, it is low res in background.

is it my computer or is it dolphin?

I'm pretty sure that's just an effect built into the game.

what do you mean? I just tried rev 4227, it looks much much better. So what is wrong with the current revs?

I think the current revs are now emulating it properly. That is probably how it looks on a real GC, though you wouldn't notice because it isn't rendered in HD.

But the Link is rendered correctly in high resolution while the surroundings are a jagged mess. Link sprite/model is definitely not that sharp on real gamecube. Seems like an odd problem with +5600 rev

Also, are you sure you didn't accidently switch efb copy to ram or enabled unnecessary xfb settings or hacks? Additionally, try running the game in fullscreen at a resolution which matches your desktop

oh.. also u can use SSAA to sharpen graphics

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)

Can you confirm that the texture bluriness was fixed by disabling efb to ram?

It looks like an attempt at depth of field and would of looked better on an old TV probably.
