Theres no way, I went through the same thing. You have to buy a used non Wii Plus remote. Ironically, they are about the same price as a new one.
Theres a huge thread on it. I went through the liberty of reading through it when this happened to me. There is no way to get it working on Linux. Windows Machines have a work around. Linux does not.
