Ubuntu with RVL-CNT-01-TR

I'm using Ubuntu 12.10 and Dolphin 3.0-898. I have a wiimote RVL-CNT-01-TR and I can't make it works with Dolphin.

Ubuntu shows the wiimote in the bluetooth device list in the bluetooth part of the "system settings". But the wiimote always show the 4 leds blinking, never just one. With Dolphin, in the wiimote configuration, the number in front of refresh button stay at 0 even refreshing with 1+2 are pressed.

I saw there is some issues with RVL-CNT-01-TR on Windows. Is this the same issue ? Any chance to make it works on Linux ?

Theres no way, I went through the same thing. You have to buy a used non Wii Plus remote. Ironically, they are about the same price as a new one.

Theres a huge thread on it. I went through the liberty of reading through it when this happened to me. There is no way to get it working on Linux. Windows Machines have a work around. Linux does not.
