Has anyone tested macOS with the third party nVidia Web Drivers? As they are custom made by nVidia, they might work better than the native macOS drivers

Are you sure AMDs Linux driver is performing this bad? Even with Mesa 17.2?
EDIT: Please try with glthread turned on, as even NVIDIA's OpenGL multithreading seems to make a difference with Dolphin. See here: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=amdgpu-1730-radeonsi&num=2 07-31-2017, 06:20 AM
Wow, I was out of the loop for a while and missed that this was being worked on again. Awesome job guys, I'm looking forward to trying it out!
Let's make a toast for phire, Stenzek, and all actors of that made that insane feature possible \o/
I hasn't bothered that much by shader compilation since it was a known "problem", but when friends were coming home, I always switched to Ishiiruka's async shaders for smooth gameplay. Now I can just enable Hybrid Mode. The gif for broken Android drivers killed me. Good job JMC47 and MayImilae !
From France with love.

Quote:macOS Graphics Drivers are Still Terrible Now, now; I’m sure macOS could run just fine these days. All you’d have to do is write yet another backend for yet another duplicative low-level graphics API that has no reason to exist - in this case, Metal. Easy peasy. ;P 07-31-2017, 08:39 AM
Congratulations! Now looking forward Hybrid XFB, I hope it eventually gets finished too...
