1. Is there a way to force your operating system to use the other two threads that dolphin isn't using to make sure that you're giving dolphin 100% available cpu power? Or is this done regardless?

2. How come there's no way to reduce the framerate down to say, 30fps without slowing the game down by half? Like with some PC games, you can cap the framerate at 30 to be able to use higher graphical settings.

1. Well I was told in another thread that dolphin only uses two threads/cores (I don't quite know the difference) so it's expected for a quad core processor to only go a little above 50% when running dolphin.
I was wondering if background processes (OS and other programs) could be forced to use the two threads that are not in use by dolphin to make it possible run a little faster?

2. That's a shame, I'd love to sacrifice every other frame for less speed drops.

Unless you are using a ridiculously out of date OS, it can handle running everything on the appropriate cores without you doing anything.
