Hi, I'va just started to use dolphin, and I have the latest build (4460), but having some problems with twilight princess. using default plugins
I can go through the intro, menu, name making, everything, but the second the game actually starts (it starts with a cinematic), it goes below 1 fps. I've changed about any setting, but still nothing changes.
specs
Windows 7 Professional
AMD Phenom II 940 BE (3.5GHz X4)
ATI Radeon 5870 1GB
4GB DDR2-1066 RAM
3x 500GB HDD RAID0
M4A78 PRO ASUS motherboard
Corsair TX750w PSU
UPDATE - super paper mario works fine
also im using 64 bit

I'm curious. Why does opengl not work? And is this fix for his hardware specifically or for every hardware configuration?

probably all these things in combination
ATI's cards mostly work wayyyy better with dx than opengl (specially this one its got dx11)
opengl is just plain not as powerful as dx
dx is made by microsoft, and is completely loaded into windows
