I have both the Wii and GameCube versions, and I do not have the problem on either even with AF on.

Switching from DX11 back to DX9 (deprecated) fixed the map problem for me. The projection doesn't look as cleanly as it does on a normal Wii, but there is no longer any flashing pink outline on the map. I consider that a win. Was able to run 4x native resolution w/ 16 AF too. Hope that helps.
