Switching from DX11 back to DX9 (deprecated) fixed the map problem for me. The projection doesn't look as cleanly as it does on a normal Wii, but there is no longer any flashing pink outline on the map. I consider that a win. Was able to run 4x native resolution w/ 16 AF too. Hope that helps.
