Not entirely sure if I'm posting in the right place, and I'm pretty sure this hasn't been posted before, esp. not in tutorial form, my apologies if I'm wrong, but let's begin.

You need:
Wii game/Emulator such as Dolphin(obviously)
Gamepad
Program such as XPadder that maps controller buttons to keys

NOTE: XPADDER IS NOT A FREE PROGRAM. THERE ARE OTHER BUTTON MAPPING PRGRAMS OUT THERE WHICH ARE FREE. I AM USING XPADDER BECAUSE IT IS WHAT I USE. IF YOU WISH TO DO THE SAME THING WITH A FREE PROGRAM, FIND ONE, SUCH AS JOY2KEY, AND LOOK UP A SEPARATE TUTORIAL FOR IT AS I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAM. IT IS STILL VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FALLOW THE PARTS OF THE TUT IN WHICH I USE XPADDER, IN THAT IT IS BASICALLY THE SAME CONCEPT, AND CONTAINS INFO YOU NEED TO KNOW.

First, you need to map your Wiimote settings properly. Map all your gamepad buttons buy clicking Wiimote in the upper menu, and then click XInput in the dropdown, and click each button and map them by pressing the buttons on the controller accordingly to how you would like it set up. If you are playing a game such as Animal Crossing: City Folk(Mainly what I use this for, also old PC games like Deus Ex), which allows you to use the controller to select dialogue options when the wiimote pointer is hidden, you can hide the wiimote optionally by mapping a button, or even a combination of buttons, to hide the wiimote. This useful feature is only available in newer builds of Dolphin though, so please upgrade to the latest build before proceeding.

How to fix your IR settings:

Do the same for the "Hide" button, if you want to, that is, but click "! NOT" instead of "Select" this time, and choose any KEYBOARD BUTTON you wish. Don't worry that it's not a controller button, as it is fixed later in the tutorial.

Now, we're almost halfway done. This is where you get to set it to aim the mouse with the controller.

Open XPadder, and when the XPadder window is selected, in the pink window that shows up, select "Sticks" on the sidebar.

Click, "Enabled" on both sticks, if applicable. Do the same on the "DPad" and "Triggers" section of the sidebar. Now, click, "Buttons." Press every single button, including pushing in the sticks, if possible, on your gamepad. This allows you to map every button if you so choose, to a keyboard key whenever the controller is connected to your PC. Now, click OK.

Now, your layout should look similar to this. By similar, I mean it has these little grey squares everywhere. The location of the squares doesn't matter, it's different for every controller.

As you can see, I already have something mapped on my right stick, left bumper, and D-Pad. Don't worry about that yet.

If you watch the screen as you press the button or tilt a stick, you will see that the grey square turns green. That means that the grey square represents that button, D-Pad movement, or analog stick movement.

Right-click the wrench icon next to a D-Pad or analog stick you wish to map as the mouse. Click "Mouse Settings."

Click "Normal," or any of the inverted options, depending on preference. More options will appear to the ride of that sidebar, and now you need to check "Move Together," and drag the slider bars according to what speed you would like the mouse to move.

I usually leave mine at default of 32, but you can adjust it to whatever you choose, and adjust it later as well. Click OK when you are pleased with the rate of movement. Test it out and adjust until you are satisfied.

Now, for the Wiimote pointer hiding. Remember what button you picked for the Wiimote configuration on the "Hide" setting. Click any button you want to use to toggle the hiding of the cursor. Select the key you chose earlier in the preceding window that pops up. I happened to choose Insert, for reasons I don't remember.

Now, right-click the button you just mapped, and select "Toggle" if you want to toggle it. Or do nothing if you don't wish to toggle the hide feature.

Now, to save the profiles. Make a folder somewhere, titled whatever you want, and make sure it is in a safe place. Click the little floppy-looking icons on the top middle and right, and choose your locations.

If you so choose, you can do what you just did, allowing yourself to "toggle" your buttons, and even use the turbo function, IN DOLPHIN! Pretty nifty, as long as you use a different keyboard key per button.

Now, go back into Dolphin, boot up your game of choice, and enjoy!

OH AND BTW, make sure XPadder(Idk about Joy2Key) is open during gameplay. Closing the window doesn't close the process, so middle-click on the icon in the system tray when you are finished.
