TTYD Crrashing as Title Screen

Hey everyone this is my first time here so sorry if I'm a lil slow. But I have downloaded TTYD from [redacted] and when I load the game it's perfectly fine but when I get past luigi reading the letter and on the screen with the boat and the title screen the game crashes. I get the error code Invalid read from 0x00000000, PC = 0x805bcf4 would love to know what I can do to fix this.
