Hey All,

I recently found out about Dolphin 5.0 and tried it out. It works fine and I pourcheased some gear but hopefully not in vein..

I am unable to get the rumble effect working with the hardware I just bought here is the list of stuff I bought:

1. http://www.haihonggames.com/products_detail.asp?id=123

2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/291369240419?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I have all the buttons and such working except the Rumble pack.. I tried a few things so far and I installed the driver from Haihonggames.com but that did not seem to make it work..

I also tried installing the driver from the FAQ but that did not work either..

Now I seen the thread where they tell you to purchase the specific and recommended controllers burt I seen that After I made the purchase. is there any hope of getting what I already have to work with the rumble pack feature??

Try setting it to wii u mode and following this guide:

https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/how-use-official-gc-controller-adapter-wii-u/
Check out my vids.

Well I tried that before but did it again this time it seemed to detect the adapter. I get the check box for rumble but it still does not rumble ingame..

I saw this on the instructions:

"Dolphin might not show the correct status of the adapter if Direct Connect is unchecked. Check that then restart Dolphin"

where is the direct connect located as I can not find it in the config under Dolphin.. I am a step closer but still not working..

Thank you for your reply this is getting closer..

I went ahead and bought the recommended Mayflash adapter hopefully that was the issue. I also asked my niece if I could use their controller for gamecube to test a real controller but I think it was the adapter for some weird reason..

Well apparently that was fixed. I just did not feel the rumble I thought it would have been more pronounced. I guess I will wait until I get the real gamecube controller perhaps that is a stronger motor..

But anyhow it works I just needed to use that above fix..
