Really hate to make a topic about this, but even a basic search of dualshock 4 brings up nothing regarding this.

When it comes to using the dualshock 4 you have 2 options. Use an external program to emulate it as an xinput controller.
Or use it natively without an external program, as a dinput controller. As the dualshock 4 is recognised by windows just like any other third party controller.

Now here's the problem. Despite dolphin having support for dinput controllers, dolphin will not register a button press when trying to map the dualshock 4 as a dinput controller.

Please note, I'm aware I can use it as an xinput, and this works fine for the most part. But this is not what I am trying to do, so please refrain from posting about xinput.

Thank you, I look forward to any responses.

I don't have any problem with Dinput on my PS4 controller. Did you click the refresh button after inserting the controller and/or switching it from Xinput to dinput?
