Hello Dolphin Crew, I have downloaded Dolphim about a year ago and have been updating regularly(no snapshots or early access versions) and have had no errors since, now all of the sudden since i have updated to version 5.0, about a week since i updated it, it is giving me this error "Trying To Read From Invalid SYSCONF," and cannot load WAD files, I also am experiencing issues with gameplay, whenever i go to play any gamecube games all i see is a few pixels on the top left corner of the screen, if you can help me i would appreciate it, thank you in advance.

i fixed the error, thinking that dolphin would automatically replace the sysconf file, i located it and deleted it and my prediction was true, it works just fine.

The latest development versions are more stable than the "Stable" versions due to how the updating process is done by the developers. It basically means that most if not all issues are resolved even before the patches and updates are merged into the development builds. Of course it is impossible to test all use cases and games so every now and then a bug or regression might slip through which is mostly fixed within a few days. TL;DR just use the Development versions so you have the latest features and speed increases and less bugs.
Check my profile for up to date specs.
