Trying to get other games working, do I need sensor bar, or something else??

Currently we just play Wii Sports which works well with the exception of the face sometimes disappearing. I'm trying to get Wii Game Party and Deigo Safari Rescue working now. Game Party launches to the menu but at this point I have no control and cannot select a game. Diego runs but I can't control him. I'm assuming a sensor bar will fix this? Thanks for the help in advance!

Welcome to the basics of a Wii. Yes, you need a sensor bar to point at things on the screen.

Right, but is that the problem? Does Game Party work on Dolphin?
