Trying to figure out what GPU to get

Hello, I a was recommended in a build posted by KHgamer to get a nvidia 750 ti, but I am considering other options which may result in better performance. I can't spend $1000 or something like that, but I can get something around $300-$600. I just want to know if there is something better than the 750 ti within that price range.

I read the FAQ and it says "the Geforce GTX 460 will handle almost any game you throw at it in HD resolutions.", so doesn't that technically means a 750 ti would be over kill if I never play those wii games that are really big on graphics like resident evil, etc.?

And for the ATI cards, it says "As such, the AMD HD5770 and should run most games at HD Resolutions." and that card is not that expensive either but the R7 and R9 cards will easily beat that card for their value right?

So basically I am still a bit worried about getting poor performance with this emulator even though the equipment I am getting is top notch. The CPU I am getting is an i5 4690K (might overclock it when I get water cooler).

Besides the CPU, I have 8 GB DDR3 of hyperx RAM as well as 3 120mm fans in the case. All of these parts I have gotten suggested from KHgamer and he will probably help me out here again, lol.

I also forgot to state that the games I will be playing are game cube games and wii games. I have a bunch of old game cube lying around that I never played before and recently bought some wii games from microplay.

Gamecube games:

- Zelda wind waker
- mario kart double dash
- mario party game(s)

Wii games:

- mario kart wii edition (idk the name)
- new super mario bros
- a side scrolling anime style fighting game (the main character you play as some kind of little girl, I saw the game on you tube it is for wii I think)

That's pretty much it. Mostly I am looking to play some multiplayer games, since I have couple of rock candy controllers I've bought that were meant for my new gaming system which I never got around to actually getting.
