troubles with wiipair

Starting new thread as symptoms changed.

info:

The BT is good has worked for 3 years. The wii motes are all OEM and
have worked since I got them. Wiipair has been a huge help untill now.
Running 64 on windows 7m using windows stack.

I completely ripped all all drivers, and also use usbdview to make sure there were no traces. I rebooted and installed my BT dongle. I ran wii pair and hit the buttons simultaneously. Both were detected and 4 lights started to flash. I saw them listed in my game controllers list and also in my BT list. After 30 seconds I saw them self remove all while the 4 lights blinked.

Any ideas?

ok I tried a new BT device same results. Are there any other BT stacks for win7 that work with wii pair? Or is there an effective way to reinstall the M$ version. I already tried that file verification tool, didnt help.

Well I ditched the m$ stack and tried Toshiba. They seem to stay as connected devices but dolphin says otherwise. Suggests me to manual connect them. Anyone out there know how to troubles shoot BT stuff. I tried it all, I can make this work.

why do you need wiipair?

can't you just launch a BT stack and Dolphin?

Well wiipair is what I use to permanently pair them however, if you follow the the post it only started out as wii pair issues its now an all around BT issue with wii-motes.

reinstalled dolpinh and now the BT is picked up ? I though about going back to wii pair but if it works...

yeah that's what I was trying last. So far its working out well.
