I'm trying to load my Super Smash Bros. Brawl stage/replay/photo data off a fresh virtual SD card I made, but I can't seem to be able to figure out how to get Dolphin to read it. I'll explain my steps thoroughly so I can help you understand all that I have did, and if I had missed anything or messed up.

  1. I have used Virtual SD Card Maker, and created a fresh 'sd.raw' file.
  2. I used WinImage and injected my entire 'private' folder into this.
  3. I then saved it into C:\Users\Michael\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Wii.
  4. The Insert SD Card option is checked.
After all this is done, I start the game up, but it does not read anything off my my SD card at all, and only has the default stages, photos and replays.

Does that screenshot show the layout of the SD card? If so, it looks like the private folder is missing. (The wii folder is in the root instead of in the private folder.)

Does the game's data management menus let you switch to the SD card at all? From your post, I'm not sure if it lets you switch but doesn't display any data or if it doesn't let you switch at all.

I just fixed that to include the 'private' being on the root, but it didn't fix anything.

Brawl recognizes there being an SD card, but has nothing in it despite my SD.raw having the whole 'private' folder as I just mentioned.
