Trouble with memory card

So, I've just begun using Dolphin.

When I boot into any .iso, I can only get to the title screen before being prompted to initialized my save file. After this, I am told the card in slot A is corrupted and prompted to format or not. At this point, I cannot by any means select the 'yes' option. If I select no, I am asked if I want to continue without saving (but still not able to select yes).

Thus far, I have tried:

- re-downloading dolphin
- changing the location of the memory card (and the file path in the Dolphin configuration)

I've posted a few screenshots, if that helps.

Any help would be appreciated,

Troy[Image: 1gn30nolg]

Have you tried creating a new memory card file with the memory card manager beforehand? Some games can't format the large memory cards that Dolphin creates, IIRC, and there are a few games that don't support large memory cards at all.

What do you mean by not being able to select Yes? Does nothing happen when you move the control stick? Does nothing happen when you press A? Does it display an error message?

Nothing happens when I press the control stick, I move the highlighted area to 'yes'. I am not getting any error messages other than those in the screenshots I have attached.

Can you post a screenshot of your GameCube controller configuration?

The control stick isn't mapped to your gamepad. (UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT are for keyboards.) If you map it, it should work.
