Trouble with Dolphin on Nvidia shield tv

I've installed Dolphin on my Nvidia shield tv but it runs very bad.
The framerate drops down to between 2-15 and the sound is awful.
I've tried games like Super Mario Kart double dash, Mario sunshine and Mario golf.
The only game i got running good is the Zelda collection.
I've watched videos on youtube where these games work very good on Nvidia shield so i must be doing something very wrong.
Any ideas?

I have it running on mine but am looking for any suggestions for the best setting for the Shield TV.

Scorpion, try setting the resolution lower I am running at 1x and getting fairly good results but looking for the best setting if anyone else can chime in, I saw some others recommending checking overclocking and running at 60-80% cPU only but I have not tried that yet as I also saw others saying overclock to 120%?
