Trouble with Dolphin for Mac

I have tried downloading every file dolphin has up. Each one only give me the dolphin icon, no other files or anything. When I click on the icon to run dolphin I get a pop up that states:
Dolphin quit unexpectedly.
Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

When I click Reopen this pop up come up again. When i click on Report there is no additional information. Does anyone know what is wrong?? If so please explain as simple as possible. I'm not that great with computers.

Which revision of Dolphin are you using? Your profile says 3.0, but it sounds like you've tried more than just that. Make sure you test out the official 3.0 release. This is just 3.0, not 3.0-745 or something else. 3.0 with no numbers after it. The newer revisions don't work on older versions of OS X (Apple's fault, probably) but older revisions should do alright, especially 3.0.

U use Mac OS X 10.6.8? Little bit outdated, huh? I suggest you to update to OS X Lion or Mountain Lion.

And then, try my OS X builds (just click on the link in my signature) or the builds of delroth's buildbot (http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=24290 )

Latest stable dolphin for 10.6.8 is WinterMute's 3.0-724 (from https://sites.google.com/a/devkitpro.org...est-builds)
Anything newer than this will crash.
If you tried newer version you may have to reset preferences (put the folder ~/user/library/application support/dolphin to trash)
If you wanna use a newer dolphin (and get more speed) then use Lion
(or install Lion SDK libraries into Snow Leopard if it can be done)
Remember that Dolphin under Lion may not work with your 'real' wiimotes.
