Hi everyone,
I recently picked up a wiimote with motion plus inside (third party, says Motion 2 in 1 on the bottom of the wiimote) and a Mayflash Dolphinbar to allow me to play games with a Wiimote and nunchuck on my Windows 8.1 system. I am trying to play Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart and Skyward Sword. The Dolphinbar is installed, it is in mode 4, it is synced with my wiimote, I have set it up correctly in Dolphin and it even vibrates to let me know it is connected to the program. But when I start a game i don't have a cursor or any button functionality apart from the home button which brings up the home menu (that i can close by pressing the home button again).

I have made sure my dolphinbar is using the correct firmware and i am using v5 of Dolphin.

Is there anything I am missing? Please help I want to be able to get this wiimote working.

The issue is probably that it's third-party. Does it even work with a real Wii? If it doesn't, maybe you just got a defective one…

I have 2 official and 1 "Motion 2 in 1" third-party Wiimote, and they work flawlessly.

Quite possibly but I am having trouble trying to find a genuine wiimote. I bought this off of ebay and the picture was a genuine one..not that I received one.

It was a crappy 3rd party. I recently bought a genuine wiimote (the model with motion plus) and it works flawlessly. I've contacted the ebay seller for the 3rd party wiimote for a refund.
