I am having problems getting my Bluetooth device to recognize my wii remote. I have tried using windows native software it doesn't recognize it and I read that I should install Toshiba Bluetooth software. Comes back sayin unable to detect remote device. This is the dongle model USB 2.0 Bluetooth V2.0 EDR Dongle Wireless Adapter. if anyone could help me it would great its driving me mad lol

If your Wiimote isn't recognized at all the problem probably comes from your BT adapter

So you'll have to install Toshiba stack first. Don't plug your dongle. Plug it only when you're asked to. Make sure to uninstall any other BT stack before. And unplug your old dongle of course. When everything's ready then try to sync your Wiimote
