I have looked around on this forum, and found several threads about people having trouble connecting their wiimotes to their computers. The root of the problem, from what I can tell, is that some wiimotes with builtin motionplus functionality have difficulty connecting to dolphin. However, my wiimote is a generic, simple, run-of-the mill standard that came with my original Wii console that I bought on release. It used to work fine with dolphin, but all of a sudden it's stopped connecting, notably after a recent version upgrade. I forget the version I used that it used to work on, and have gone through so many windows reinstalls since then that it would be nearly impossible to try and figure out which one it was.
Currently, it will connect perfectly fine to my Broadcom BCM20702 Bluetooth 4.0 USB adapter, and appears as Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 in the Connected Devices list. But no matter what I do, I cannot get it to connect to dolphin properly. I've tried hitting 1+2 on the wiimote and the Refresh button in the wiimote menu in dolphin, I've tried hitting the buttons after starting up a game, I've tried doing both while fervently mashing the F5 key hoping that would do something. I've even taken off my motionplus adapter and battery cover and pressed the red sync button on the back, although I'm fairly sure it doesn't do anything different. I'm in some desperation here, and don't know where to look other than this forum.
Also note that yes, I have set Wiimote 1 to Real Wiimote.

Wait, nevermind; it works now for some reason. It seems that I had to turn on continuous scanning, and that fixed the problem.
My current dolphin version is 4.0-2826, in case I ever encounter this problem again for any reason.
