Triple Core Dolphin Build

I got a AMD Phenom Triple Core with 2.1 Gherz, 4GB Ram and a Geforce 9500GT with 256 and .... someone with weak PC can play Super Smash Brother Melee with full speed - why not me?

But what we can help you with is your FPS problem, Phenom is a good CPU, list your Specs if you want help & also change your thread title.

so i am not lost... good... all what you can read up - have forgot to tell that i got a AMD Phenom 8400 triple core....

Ahhh and i got the 64 build ^^.. ahhhhh and i forgot... i used the newst build from Dolphin - ATM 3972

dont trust everyone here. its still a competition : the one who tells he got the best performance wins.

even guys with low machines want to compete in this game and tell ridiculous stuff.

ssbm runs sometimes bad even on my 3ghz c2d and phenom is not much faster per clock.

i will use every single tip that one give me (i dont trust myself that i handle aoverclocking) did someone maybe can make a - bader looking - but BETTER working way... i have all tryed out - i was go down wih the grafic - the filter 16X down to 1 and tryed out in window moe, full screen - no effect... its only that - i HAVE to trust here - its a forum with peoples that get the thing working =) ^.^

you can trust whoever you want, but let me tell you one thing :

playing ssbm fullspeed with 2.1ghz phenom is impossible.

maybe some levels with 2 characters maximum, but thats it.

i would not even be impressed if they come here right after this post and tell they play this game on their 2ghz P4 singlecore.


but there are no hidden settings, especially no hidden doom switch that you press and everything runs 200% faster.

I wouldn't really call it a competition, but people do sometimes tell lies that absolutely make no sense at all. Everytime i see one of those i just [color=#FF0000]*facepalm[/color] at how improbable they sound.

I'm not so idiotic as to lie about having a 2Ghz Pentium that runs SSBM but my Athlon 64 3000+ runs Skies Of Arcadia above full speed. Honest.

look this video.. his system, look the sound, the frames... isnt a lot better like my one... i got more ram, AMD tripplecore and (maybe just) 2.1 Ghert on every core... its OVERSPEED with the frames...

He's using an old build which was less compatible, but a little faster in THAT game, also, is your OS 64 bit?

Got an AMD phenom Triple core with 2.1 Ghertz, 4 GB ram, 256 MB geforce 9500GT and vista ultimate 64 and i use the Dolphin 3972 (64 bit to)

Enable other audio is out.
I got on: Enable dual core, idle skipping, HLE the Bios all the time, enable the jit dynarec, lock threats to core, opt quan, LLS DSP, use panic handler, all other is unchecked...

... i dont know the final destination map... but i can look on "fountain" 12-14FPS - if ou needing a harder scriptet map... i choice "Mute city" link with mario...24-28 FPS..
