Hi,

Thanks to everybody help I managed to run Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, highly appreciated.

I tried to do the same with Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 and apparently it looks ok, the problem are the credits. The game is asking me insert 1 credit and there is no way to do that. The code for the unlimited credits is not working.

I've been searching on internet about this issue and I can’t find a solution. The only one difference between the games is the region. I’m running an European version of Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 and USA version of Mario Kart Arcade GP 1.

These codes only work with European versions?

Dolphin version: dolphin-Triforce-4.0-315-x64

This is my ini file with the problem:
[OnFrame]

$Emulation Bug Fixes

Thank you!

Thank you!

Adding an "Insert Coin" button like MAME could do the job

I spent hours trying to get MKA 1 & 2 working, to no avail. But then I came across this post in another forum that explains the process step by step, and I finally got it working:

You have to use two different triforce branches to make the games work.

Hello. I need some help regarding item targeting graphics in this game. When you are holding a forward-throwing item, the game shows a small reticle for aiming the item. When you are holding a backward-throwing item, the game displays a flashing blue arrow behind the item. In Triforce 4.0-309, these graphics appear as normal. However, if you save state and then load the state in 4.0-309 or 4.0-315, the graphics stop appearing and do not reappear no matter what I do. The game still works normally in every other respect, but aiming items can be difficult without these targeting graphics, and the game feels incomplete to me. Note that these graphics are never seen in 4.0-315, since you must load state to play the game on that version. Also note that the lock-on targeting graphics appear as normal. I am using default settings, and the Arcade GP 2 patches found in this thread. Can someone please provide me with a patch or something that will make these graphics appear consistently?

Savestates tend to have bugs like that, I don't know if there is anything you can do about it.

Are you sure there's no way that the bug can be fixed or patched? You know which graphics I'm referring to, right?

Also, which Gamecube button corresponds to GP 2's Vs Cancel button?

Well, I guess that's unfixable... Anyway, the game says that certain items, like the Fireball or Poison Mushroom, can be thrown forwards or backwards. How do you throw them backwards in the game?
