Tried USB Passthrough, ended up breaking my microphone

So I wanted to use my Logitech microphone on Dolphin for games like Guitar Hero or Rock band. I followed this guide and I first tried the new 5.0-2352 method. I installed the driver thing and it actually worked, but I couldn't find a stable enough build so I tried the "before 5.0-2352" method to use it on Dolphin 5.0.

I followed the "before 5.0-2352" guide and then launched my game, but it wasn't working. I then tried to see if I did something wrong, and I noticed the program to replace the driver couldn't see the microphone anymore. In fact, no program can see the microphone (discord, skype, etc.) and I'm afraid that I broke my microphone, since it was the one I used for almost everything.

I tried restarting the system, but that didn't fix anything.

Can anyone help me on getting my microphone working again?

I tried using it on linux on the same pc (I dual-boot), and it works fine. So this might be just a driver issue. How do I reinstall the USB driver?

If you go into device manager, you can uninstall whatever driver is installed for it.

Also, before 5.0-2352 method won't work for 5.0, as there's no USB oh0/VEN support in 5.0.

Wait, is the logitech microphone you're using the Actual Wii/Wii U/PS3 one? If it's just a PC logitech mic, it won't work.

I buyed a we sing pair mics I think they are rebranded Logitech.

They come with a usb hub too. Which should be the correct way to make them work? Should I install libusbk for both mics? for the usb hub? Anything else to do? Can I use zadig instead of x64 usbdk? I already used zadig for bt passthrough. Or should I use x64 usbdk for bt and usb hid now?

Will x64 usbdk affect all my usb devices? Or can I select which ones?

Thanks

@trihy:
I think you just need to have usbdk installed to your system at all, it doesn't replace any driver. Sadly the wiki seems to be lacking any mention of usbdk and only explains the old passthrough method that requires zadig.

For bluetooth passthrough there's a problem though: If you have a normal driver installed that is capable of being used for non passthrough mode, usbdk doesn't work. It does work with driver required for the xinput wrapper for ps3 controllers. Anyways, why do i mention this? I do, because i think there might be a problem if the microphone has an antual microphone driver installed. But this is just a blind guess.

@Readek:
Do you see your microphone in the device manager, maybe with the wrong driver? If yes, try updating this driver to the old driver. If you are not sure which is which, unplug, check device manager and replug and check the device manager again. There's also a chance that using a different usb port helps.

I uninstalled the driver with the device manager, and it started working again, thanks for your help!

Also, my mic is the official Logitech one that came with the GHWT bundle years back from now.

Now ill just have to find a dolphin version above 2352 that can play both GH6 and RB3 (with many builds that I tried, I could not get past the main screen of RB3, for example).

I'm using Rockband 3 right now in the latest dev version and it's working with the microphone, so, I don't know.

I tried using the most recent dev build (5.0-3768). Microphone works, but when I try to get past the main screen, it will tell me something about wii's network and crash. The same happens on GHWoR. It may be because I'm using my own nand from my wii? This error does not happen with older builds (5.0 or 5.0-2352).

EDIT: I followed the networking guide and it works. But its weird I have to do this to play even though I probably won't touch online mode for any game.

The game is asking us to do some SSL stuff, so for correct emulation we need some files from the Wii's internal operating system (IOS).

The fact that this didn't use to show up is what I would consider a bug and a UX failure in the older versions, which would silently fail instead of letting the user know their action is needed for proper emulation.
