Okay, so i've been messing around with settings for about 2 hours now, removing/adding things, switching this and that, all to no result.

I've intended to use the Gecko code for Widescreen. I've read here that you're just supposed to relabel "Gecko" and "Gecko_Enabled" to "ActionReplay" and "ActionReplay_Enabled". Tried that, crashes my device.

I've also gotten the two required files from the Windows version so that's not the problem either.

Cheats are enabled. I'm using a custom build of Dolphin (i forgot which version it was exactly, but i'm pretty sure it was from this long custom build thread here - [link removed due to license violation]).

The region of the game and settings i'm using is USA.

Where i'm at currently:
Inserted Gecko codes as Action Replay codes. Game crashes on startup. If i change up the code name in [ActionReplay_Enabled], it doesn't crash anymore, so it's obviously related to the code or rather it's support in some way (not that i would know, how exactly).

I hope someone can help me out here. I'd gladly just try out a config of someone who's got it to work. I love this game and playing it in widescreen would be amazing. I've tried as much as i could to get it right, but nothing Undecided .

Use latest dev build and then report back. Custom builds aren´t officially supported (but you can ask in the custom build´s thread otherwise).

Oh right, sorry, i forgot to mention - i'm actually using both the latest build and a custom build. Right now i'm using the custom one for Wii games, as they run a bit better on it but both builds crash when starting the game, while trying to use the widescreen code.

It might be the case that Gecko codes are just broken on Android...? Because the people I recall trying it recently haven't gotten anything other than crashes.

That's... somewhat questionable advice.

You don't have to put those files there manually anymore. They were required before 2018, though.

renaming Gecko Codes into AR codes is ancient advice for ancient versions that doesn't work anymore.

whats the games code ? i have the gamesettings.ini files from the ishikura build, with all the action replay preloaded. but shouldnt be necessary. Try this ! delete the games settings then remake just general enabling cheats, then go cheat codes under gecko (not gecko enabled) enter desired code then top right corner hit save state (square looking thing) then save code . if its a 16:9 code in graphics force 16:9 . finish gamesettings and launch . look to make sure code took ! aspect should be nearly fullscreen at least it is on my s8+ but it is significantly wider than just forcing it . Nothing should look stretched at all (1x resolution at least until you get desired results) Most 16:9 widescreen codes will not work if ypuenabled widescreen hack , but its on a case by case basis check compatibility. I havent tried Mario Sunshine but its unlikely just that titles gecko fix isnt operational.
Hi,
Is there anyway to completely hide a touchscreen button and retain functionality ? Opacity to 0 still shows the button character when pushed. I use a ps4 controller via bluetooth and no matter what i do the emulator detects the trigger axis (axis 17+) and interupts it as axis 1+ (forward on control stick) even when trigger is disabled ! but it does not detect it if i use a touch config for trigger and unmap in app ! Is there another work around for this ? i tried enabling passthrough but a ps4 controller cant be synced correctly through system bluetooth, requires 3rd party app and long story short Android doesnt see controller when its connected so app cant. (sounds bizarre but worrks flawlessly....except for analog trigger issue)
