Hello, everyone. If you look at my specs, you might wonder what a person with such a weak computer is even doing, trying to work with a demanding emulator like Dolphin... but yeah, I got the game Trauma Team to (sort of) work after messing with a few settings.
I played the game happily until Chapter 3 of Endoscopy, 'Moment of Zen.' At one point, you have to excise a polyp using the snare. When I match the guideline for the snare, however, the snare does not excise the polyp but begins spazzing around like crazy, moving away into the distance and back. Because it never actually excises the polyp, the "cutscene" never ends, and so I can't regain control, making this operation unwinnable.
I've turned many settings off and on to see if that would improve things, but to no avail. My specs are...
Processor: Intel® Core Duo CPU T5750 @ 2.00 GHz 2,00 GH
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS
RAM: 4,00 GB
Dolphin Edition: Dolphin 3.0-354-dirty
That said, I'm not sure if my problem is related to specs, as it has been able to run the game even at the more graphically demanding moments up until now. As for the options I have on/off...
Under the General tab in the options, none of the boxes are ticked. The 'backend' is Direct3D9 and adapter is my video card.
Under Enhancements, Anti-Aliasing is set to 'none' and anisotropic filtering is set to 1x. Of the boxes, only 'scaled EFB Copy' is ticked.
Under Hacks, 'Ignore Format Changes' is ticked. Under EFB copies, no box is ticked and the circle next to RAM is selected (I changed this because it didn't work on texture, I do not know if it makes any difference). Texture Cache is set slightly closer to 'safe' than to 'fast.' 'External frame buffer' is set to real and is not disabled. Under Other, only Fast Mipmaps and Disable Lighting are ticked.
Under Advanced, nothing is ticked.
Geesh, that took a fair amount of effort to write. If anyone could offer some advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.
