I moved my saves from PC to (Windows OS) SteaM Deck and Dolphin simply won't read the saves. I have tried everything. I moved the entire save folder over. I reinstalled. The virtual memory card EVEN writes other saves to the aforementioned memory card BUT it won't read my PC saves at all from any game that I have. It WILL write NEW saves but will NOT read the old ones. I have EVEN tried creating a new memory card and moving the individual saves over via Memory Card Manager and that didn't work either. I have tried using GCI saves as well and Dolphin won't read any of that either. It is VERY frustrating because I am trying to set up seamless cloud save integration and have done so with all other emulators with minimal/no issues but Dolphin saves won't work at all and before you say to use Save States, Steam Deck Dolphin won't use those either. It simply refuses to load them. IDK why.

Is it both wii and gamecube games that aren't transferring? When you said it writes new saves, what are the filenames compared to the ones you tried to put in? Maybe some permission issue somehow? Is it in my documents or appdata?

This is just GameCube I am having issues with. I made my installation portable on my steam deck and it still wouldn't find the saves. Should I change ownership of the emulation folder? Are you saying that work??? |
