I am using Dolphin 4.0-648. So I managed to get my -TR wiimote connected to dolphin, I think. I installed Toshiba Bluetooth stack with no problems, and it has recognized and connected my wiimote. I then went to dolphin, set player 1 to Real Wiimote, hit refresh, the wiimote vibrated and "1" is solidly lit. However when I start a game, none of my inputs are recognized, despite all other evidence saying my wiimote is connected. I've re-read "https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/wii-remote-plus-rvl-cnt-01-tr-connection-guide/" multiple times and have retraced all of my steps to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm not incredibly computer savvy so apologies if I am a bit slow. Thanks!

That's a pretty old Dolphin build, in fact, I don't even see it in the build archive (it should be on page 39 or 40). Try using either the stable 4.0.2 build or one of the newer development builds.

4.0-648 is newer than 4.0.2 at least. But yes, definitely update to a newer dev build.
As for your issue, we need to know the game you are trying to play. It appears your wiimote is working properly, so it should work immediately. EDIT: UGH please do not max out the Subject line! Any time anyone replies it wants to add "RE: " in front of it and then throws up a "the subject is too long" error. Stupid MyBB. I'll edit the name of the thread as a work around. Sorry about the subject line, this was my first post here and I hadn't realized that would cause a problem. On topic, I guess I hadn't realized that my Dolphin version was so out of date, since updating it has done the trick. I really appreciate the help, though I recognize that updating Dolphin should have probably been the first thing I did. (I attempted to insert the embarrassed Smiley right here, but I can't seem to figure Smilies out on this board ) Apologies again for the inconvenience with the subject line, I'll remember it in the future! |
