Touch controls dont work

Hi i am trying to play a Wii game in dolphin Android but the on-screen controls don't respond.

I can configure the location of each button but when I press them they don't respond.

What am I missing?

Does the game you're playing support GameCube controllers?

Probably not. Its NSMB Wii.

So dolphin only emulates the game cube controller not the Wii controller?

Wii controller is emulated on the PC versions.

Not on Android. Android does support plugging in a Dolphinbar to sync real wiimotes though or something like that, as incredibly clumsy that is for portability
