Hi. I'm totally new to the world of Wii emulation, and I'm totally new to these forums as well, but please bear with me. I'm trying to set up Dolphin on my computer so I can play The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I do not have a wii. I've downloaded the latest version of Dolphin (3.5) and have read all the FAQ entries on the website. My CPU is an intel i7 960 and my GPU is an Nvidia GTX 570.
I have a wiimote, a wireless sensor bar, and a USB bluetooth receiver. I followed all the instructions on the website and was able to successfully pair my wiimote with Dolphin.
However, when I start TLOZSS up, I get the standard safety instruction manual about the wrist strap, etc. I can clearly see in the Dolphin console (on the status bar at the bottom) that the Wiimote is initially connected:
But after a couple of seconds, the message changes to this one:
Then the game screen fades to this one:
Pressing "A" does not work at all. However, when I look in the wiimote settings screen in the Dolphin, I can clearly see that 1 remote is connected. When I hit refresh, the motor vibrates.
All the batteries in my wiimote and the wireless sensor bar are brand new Duracells.
Does anybody have any thoughts for me, or places I should go to look into this further? I'm fairly computer savvy, but I'm completely new to the world of game emulation and might be missing something really obvious. Thanks in advance for any help!
