I just started playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 on dolphin and it works well, but the game runs on at 50% speed. The framerate is usually smooth, but dolphin doesn't recognize the graphics card and cpu is only running at 40% when I play.

How can I get Dolphin to recognise my GPU and get the CPU to work harder?

Thanks

First, LOL
Second, SMG is a VERY demanding game so yeah
Third, Your CPU has 4 cores and dolphin only uses 2 so it isn't going to use all of your CPU.

what you can do is try installing updated drivers for your gfx card, and then set the extra 2 cores to use dolphin under. I know there is a way to set a program to use cores that are unused.

Windows 10 x64
Intel i5 3317u @ 1.7GHz
437GB HardDiskDrive
8GB ram
Intel HD 4000 .

Pretty sweet right![/color]

Your CPU is too slow to run it at full speed, thats all she can muster

Huh? all he can do is use LLE on thread to use the 3rd core, dolphin only supports 2 cores, there is no such thing as an app that will increase the number of cores an application uses, at least none i've heard of but it'd be stupid cause the developer of the app would have just included the option in the GUI if it was supported
......?????

The CPU is only dual core, but when I look in task manager, all 4 threads are at 50%. I also don't think it has turned on turbo boost.

no I meant there was a way to set a program under the enviromet of the 2 unused corses.

not use all 4 corse, have dolphin only use the 2 that are virtually empty, I am not sure how to explain what I am trying to say
