I downloaded the latest "stable" version of dolphin. I'm trying to play Super Mario Sunshine. However, after I finish the opening tutorial and get the mission from the judge to clean the island, the game just starts filling with so much static that I can't hear anything else!

Anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Don't use the stable version. Use the latest development version, instead. There have been many audio fixes since 4.0.2 came out.

Ok, I downloaded that like you suggested. However, when I try to launch a rom, I just get a series of messages saying my video card needs to support "OpenGL" 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, and 3.3.

What's the most recent emulator that doesn't have the static, that I don't need this support to use?

According to your profile, you support OpenGL 3.3, so... update your video drivers?
