Still working away at this. CAS parts are nearly done. I've redrawn a handful of items, updated all the logos, made new tats, and upscaled the rest.
I'm working on HD decks now.

I've been slowly but surely going through the game and upscaling everything with Bighead's Custom Texture Tool. I wish I had the time to go through and retouch the thousands of textures manually, but it's doing just as good as I could do with many textures.

I would like to begin this process on THUG 2, but I am completely new to upscaling textures. I have been able to successfully import some of your textures from this pack to THUG 2 as placeholders (score, balance meter), but the fonts do not scale properly and appear as gibberish in the UI. 06-16-2020, 05:18 AM

I'm betting the font is just laid out completely differently. For all of the fonts in the game found the source font (or something close) and used it to draw over the font texture map. I'm surprised that other UI elements matched up. BTW I haven't updated this in ages but I'm actually working on this pack again. Of course, I keep finding more that I want to redraw so it keeps taking longer and longer. Promise an update with a complete download someday soon. 06-18-2020, 12:33 AM

I was able to upscale the existing font images and manually touch up some of the more pixelated letters. Is that what you did, or did you just use similar fonts with a matching layout? Also, that's great to hear. I just finished a THUG playthrough using your textures and everything looks phenomenal in 4k. 06-18-2020, 02:24 PM
Tell you what, here's my work folder for all the fonts in THUG.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/14gfT5mb...sp=sharing It's got all the Photoshop PSD files I worked from so you can see how I put them together. I didn't label anything or clean up layers so you might have to do some detective work. I used this page to find what fonts were used in the game (or did my best guess) http://thmods.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=489 Then manually placed and resized each letter to fit over the source texture. 06-18-2020, 11:53 PM
